Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Course is always in extremely rough shape especially on the Front 9. $24 bucks for 18 is a good price but when you have Olde Homeplace for 37$, the better conditions offsets the cost.

The amount of things these people are able to get away with is ridiculous. My car window gets cracked by people playing golf and the only thing they’re telling me is that “ unless someone admits to it there’s nothing we can do” of course a bunch of young players do not want to take responsibility for breaking someone’s window. Went to the front desk and the lady was very nonchalant about it but was “concerned “ for the players when I said something about tracking them down. The players knew they hit my car. Said oh we did got in the golf cart and sped off. No one even cared to try to help and resolve the issue

If you want a big step up challenge wise from par 3 at Tanglewood - this is a great option. Nice scenery along a big creek. Some nice long shots. Decent course, nice carts, rough cart paths. Would be great if they could procure a grant to help cover costs to repair the cart paths.

Course is in need of a total overhaul. Cart paths are like driving in Iraq where the road is blown out from mortars. A green has poorly laid sod patches on it from where it died previously, making the green feel like I was putting on cobblestone streets in Charleston. There are no more sand traps, only dirt traps where sand used to be. The tee boxes had not been mowed since last year making me feel like I was teeing off from the rough. If I had to guess, the course had filed bankruptcy and was undergoing repairs. Unfortunately I played before the repairs were done... Cheap, but will not return. 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff was nice, but it was also her last day there.

I came to NC from Europa for my holidays and family visit and played this course 2 times. Will definitely come back this year. See you soon Update: played again july 2025. Very friendly lady at the desk, very welcoming and helpful. 20 bucks with a buggy included is a good price for this course. Here and there some dry spots on the greens but for this money I don’t mind. Thanks again
